A ferry ride to paradise awaits at Roche Harbor, Washington, where Westcott Bay Shellfish Co. is a testament to resilience and dedication. Once a world-renowned oyster farm, it faced significant challenges due to climate changes and ownership transitions. Thanks to the hard work of current owners Erik and Andrea Anderson, the farm has been revitalized and is now thriving, known for its superb oysters and commitment to supporting local farms and businesses.
This year’s event promises a unique dining experience. Tables will be set among the gentle tides of Westcott Bay, creating a magical ambiance as the sun sets over tranquil waters. Chef Josh Ratza from Setsunai Noodle Bar, our neighbor in Lopez Village, will craft the culinary delights. Chef Ratza’s homemade ramen noodles were a highlight last year, and he returns with thoughtfully sourced local ingredients that showcase the best of the San Juan Islands’ community.
Guests will enjoy exquisite wine from The Orcas Project and refreshing beverages from Madrone Cellars, each sip reflecting the island’s craftsmanship and flavors.
Don’t miss this extraordinary event, which celebrates the spirit of Lopez Island through food, drink, and community connections.
